Background

In 2060, the oil fields in the Middle East ran dry. Both the European Commonwealth and the Middle Eastern powers were reduced to ruin with no victor.^{[Non-game 1]} The European Commonwealth dissolved into bickering, quarreling nation-states fighting over the world's remaining resources.^[2]

A wine named Chateau Montrose was mentioned as being drank once by the U.S. president as of 2077 with no confirmation of it being a French wine.^[22] In real life, Château Montrose is a winery in the French region of Bordeaux.
Similarly, a Atomic Claret vintage is mentioned once, with "claret" being primarily used in British English for red Bordeaux wine.
