Calamity

Calamity is a ghoul doctor stationed in Jacobstown as Dr. Henry's research assistant looking for a cure for the nightkin's aggressive tendencies.^[1]^[2] She can be found in the Jacobstown lodge.

She has lived a long time and changes her name and job every decade or so to stop getting bored. She chose the name Calamity because she thought it was nice. Although she has never tried a job in science before, she found she was really quite good at it, "according to Doctor Henry."^[3]

Guess Who I Saw Today: Calamity will run most of the nightkin tests that Dr. Henry tells her to. The ones that she doesn't, Henry does himself.

If you have any of the brains (Violetta's brain, Rey's brain, Lupa's brain) from the dogs (Violetta, Rey, Lupa) in your inventory, upon Calamity's death, they will be removed.
If Keene and the other 3–4 nightkin turn hostile during the quest Guess Who I Saw Today, it's possible Calamity will be killed in the crossfire.
It is possible that she is named after frontierswoman Calamity Jane.
