The events of the game take place in 7 stages.
Stage 1
The capital city of Earth. Fight through the city's defense forces and escape the city to the East.
Stage 2
Wasteland outside of the city. Pursue a heavily-defended train traveling on a supply route.
Stage 3
An underground silo network. Use connecting tunnels to find the enemy base.
Stage 4
A water reservoir and connected factory. Try to destroy the reactor.
Stage 5
An airport. Find the Empire's newly-built spacecraft preparing to launch from a space catapult.
Stage 6
A massive rocket-propelled spacecraft launched at the Moon.
