Synopsis

Guilst arc

Note: Events in this arc occur only in the anime and do not constitute canon material.

Naru is one of the 29 B-Cubers who have been kidnapped by Rogue Out, where they are tied with Digital Bind and left in a cell in the spaceship heading towards the planet Guilst. She cries beside Icchy when from the other side of the glass wall their captors appear and tell them to be quiet and inform them that they are being sold to Illega. Naru moves back after Ganoff enters their cell to threaten Copa to stop crying. When Rebecca defends Copa, Naru looks away as Rebecca is tortured with the Digital Bind, but is stunned that the blonde girl instead wonders aloud whether she can use it on her B-Cube channel. After the three leave, Naru and the other B-Cubers pay attention to Rebecca, some thanking her for her brave actions. Like the others, she is surprised that Rebecca is a B-Cuber, where Naru apologizes as she had no idea. She listens as Rebecca suggests they try to break out by working together and encourages the group by telling them that they're geniuses and that they will find a way to escape. When they arrive on Guilst they are delivered to Illega Tower, where they are kept in a large cell. Naru listens as Illega welcomes them to his residence and reveals that his plan is to convert all of the B-Cubers gathered into furniture as it is his hobby. She is horrified when he shows a live demonstration from the other room, where a girl is petrified. Naru is confused as the room is flooded with bubbles and is shocked when it melts her clothes.[1]

Equipment

B-Cube (B・キューブ B Kyūbu): As a B-Cuber, she uses a B-Cube terminal to record, upload, and share videos on her channel.[1]

Trivia

  • Naru, along with Icchy, Ricchan, Nacchan, and Flanker Yocchi, is based on an online personality of the same name from the real-life Japanese YouTube channel "Bom Bom TV".
  • Along with Icchy, they replace Ricchan and Nacchan in the anime.
