Ascantha

Ascantha is a castle town in Dragon Quest VIII. It is ruled by King Pavan and his late wife, Queen Sasha.

Synopsis

Ascantha is first visited by the Hero and his group shortly after Angelo joins. During their stay they find the Kingdom in mourning for the late queen. After talking to the locals they find the Queen died two years, and the King. After attempting to meet with the King, they note that he has become a recluse. One of the maids asks the hero to help the King. Later the party returns seeking the Moonshadow harp.
