CC Robots are Robots created by the Capsule Corporation for the Time Patrol in the Xenoverse series.
Overview
In order to assist the Time Patrol lead by Chronoa and Future Trunks, the Capsule Corporation built a legion of Giru-like robots to run various facilities & services, providing information, and/or perform certain tasks related to the Time Patrol and its operations.
As a result, CC Robots serve a simple yet vital role in the organizations operations, maintaining Toki Toki City and later Conton City. At one-point, Future Trunks provided Chronoa with a CC Robot to keep the Time Nest clean due to Chronoa's habit of leaving junk on the lawn outside her house. Unfortunately, she asked it too many questions and it blew a fuse, though it is implied to be due to Chronoa's interest in technology and curiosity lead her to overenthusiastically ask to many questions for it to process.
Despite their size, they are strong enough to lift large Matching Area VS billboard & Team Matching Area Flag billboard. They are also equipped with a built-in external Scouter which is attached via a shoulder mount and a wire that connects into a port on their left side. CC Robots are generally helpful and dutifully carry out their tasks whatever they may be.
Variations
- Stand Mounted CC Robot - CC Robot models equipped with a stand attachment which they can swivel upon. Used primarily by CC Robots that act as store clerks, Team Registration, Parallel Quests (offline/online), and Battles (offline/online). Conton City Information CC Robot Garid is this type.
- Flying CC Robot - CC Robots capable of using Hikou-based flight. Conton City Broadcasting, Crystal Raid Battles, Culina, Spots, Brashy, Thirith, Transfer Shop Clerks, and Partner Customization Robots are all this type.
- Wheeled CC Robot - CC Models equipped to wheeled stands allowing them to move around using their wheels. At least two of these models can be seen working in the Battle Information and Quest Information, while the two Trip Guide, Advancement Test Desk, Clothing Mixing Shop, Kame House Reception, Torai are also of this type.
- Golden CC Robot - A CC Robot model exclusive to Dragon Ball: The Breakers.
- Legend Patrol CC Robot - A CC Robot model created by Fu to gather energy from battles that replicate the critical missions originally carried out by the Toki Toki City Hero using technology and the power of the Time Vault. Waipa is the only known robot of this type.
Video Game Appearances
In Xenoverse 2, after the 1.15.00 Update, it is revealed that Fu made some unauthorized modifications to the Partner Customization Robots that allow the Future Warrior to unlock new characters in Partner Customization. However, in order to unlock each character, they must obtain the corresponding Customization Unlock Key as a random Raid Quest reward. The first ten keys were added during the 1.15.00 Update DLC, while Keys 11-15 were added during the 1.17.00 Update DLC. As part of the 1.19.00 Update DLC, Keys 16-20 were added. As part of the Legend Patrol Pack, the CC Robot Waipa appears in Time Nest which gives access to Legend Patrol Mode, which is a simulation system that allows access to past events from Xenoverse.
In The Breakers, CC Robots can be found within the Base located near Conton City. There is also a special Golden CC Robot who keeps track of Dragon Tier Achievements for each Season.
