“ | Alors, zut! | ” |
— Fifi when she is stopped from swiping. |
Fifi the Skunk is the 'Swiper' of France who only appears in Dora's World Adventure.
Physical Appearance
Fifi is a standard black-and-white striped skunk who wears a mask and gloves that are blue, just like Swiper's.
Trivia
- Fifi is the only female 'Swiper' shown.
- Fifi's way of saying "Oh, man!" ("Alors, zut!") means "So, damn!" in French.
- Fifi is voiced by Marc Weiner, just like Swiper himself.
- She is not the only skunk in media named Fifi. The 1990's Warner Bros./Amblin cartoon Tiny Toon Adventures features a skunk named Fifi La Fume, but that show ended years before Dora was created.
- Skunks are not native to France, meaning she moved there.
- She is the only Swiper counterpart who is not native to the country she is in.
- The fact she is a French skunk is a reference to the iconic Looney Toons character Pepe Le Pew.
- She is the only foreign Swiper who is seen smiling during the "We Did It!" song, in contrast to Sammy, Fomkah, and Ying Ying, who are frowning instead.
- She and Ying Ying, unlike Swiper, Sammy and Fomkah, have five fingers on their hands instead of the typical four seen on most western cartoon characters.
- She never appeared on either Go, Diego, Go! or Dora and Friends: Into the City!.
- Theoretically, Fifi's way of saying "You're too late! (giggles cruelly) You'll never find [[it/them]/[your/the/that/those] (items)] now!" would be: "Vous êtes allé trop lentement! (giggles cruelly) Vous ne trouverez jamais [[il/eux]/[votre/le/cela/ceux] (items' name in French)] maintenant!"
- She has Kleptomania.
