King is the title of a male monarch, and as such is used by many royals, like King Arthur and King Orin. It has also been used as an alias by several heroes and villains. King Standish, was a mystery man in the 1940s, using disguise and deception to fight crime.
The Royal Flush Gang has had many villains with the moniker King in all suits, though Joseph Carny, the King of Spades, is the most prominent.
