The King was a member of the Royal Flush Gang.
History
The man known as "King" is the leader of the third group of criminals to call themselves the Royal Flush Gang. He recruited the brother and sister pair Ace and Ten to the gang. Together, the five members went searching for Superman, and, upon finding him, King smacked Ten with his cane to order him to fight.
Though Superman countered Ten's attack, Ace became furious that King disrespected her brother and surrendered the fight in order to beat up King and the other members. King and the rest of the Royal Flush Gang were soon apprehended by the police.[1]
