Megara is a news reporter living in Crotoonia, alongside her husband Hercules.

Personality

​Local reporter for the Crotoonian Gazette, and wife of Olympian Hero (and local sports expert) Hercules, Megara is what some Crotoonians call "The Greek Queen of Sass." With a spunky, quick-witted, tough, and independent nature (with a bit of snarkiness and outspokenness), she's ready to take any story and any situation! Meg may seem a bit tough to the average newcomer, but she's alot more caring than you'd think. Even if she doesn't always show it, she does care a great deal for her friends.

Background

In her youth, Meg was romantic and open to giving love. She deeply cherished the relationship she shared with her boyfriend, who one day lost his life. To save him, she sold her soul and offered servitude to Hades, God of the Underworld. Her boyfriend was revived, as agreed, but he heartlessly left Meg for another woman shortly thereafter. Since then, she's had trouble trusting others and finding the courage to love again. Having become jaded and cynical as a result of her past, Meg upheld her end of the bargain by assisting Hades in his quest to take over the cosmos. According to a brief exchange, however, Hades held some amount of sympathy for Meg's plight and was open to subtracting years from her sentence based on her performances in the field.

^[1]The free-spirited, sassy, independent, and beautiful wife of famed, but retired hero Hercules, Megara takes charge of many of the minor projects in Cliffstone Center Quarry, from inspection duties to finding new mining sites. She's a bit cynical and world-weary, but also kind, intelligent, and helpful. She's also one of the bravest people on the whole Cliffstone team, always ready to take on any emergency no matter how big, making her a hero in the eyes of youngsters like Brianne the Young Quarry Engine and Anna. Even if she can be a bit negative at times, she's still kind to her friends in Cliffstone and beyond, engines or people, and she'll always be ready to teach an uppity person or engine a well-deserved lesson!
