Sete is the seventh Original. Her abilities are light manipulation and foresight. She was an arbiter at the courts until her garden was destroyed by an angry mob in retaliation for Nine and Hiru's callous actions against civilians. As an arbiter, she spent her days stating numbers that scribes wrote down to tell people about the current activity in the world. Her information is considered evidence by the courts. She was also given commands by the government to limit her vision to confidential places.
Appearance
Sete is a frail young woman, with the most notable feature of her appearance being the black blindfold on her eyes and her bangs covering one eye. Akin to the other Originals, she has white hair and yellow eyes that glow when her powers are used.
She regularly wears black robes with white trim and designs on her sleeves. Sete has black triangles under her eyes that have been there since she was a child.
Whenever Sete gets serious, or is going to use her powers, she takes her blindfold off.
Personality
Sete is a quiet, timid, and used to be, reluctant woman. Despite having the ability to foresee, she was constantly afraid of making decisions that would impact the outcome, as she felt that if she helped one person, another would suffer due to her actions. She constantly took comfort in the words “it isn't my fault” every time she saw the outcome of her indecisiveness and the pain that could have been avoided.
This caused Sete to stagnate, and whatever pain came her way, she felt that the pain of those who were hurt by her inaction was greater, and she accepted whatever harm was done to her. This extended to the idea of her own death.
However, when Nine compelled her to act in the face of his death, she finally broke herself from her self-imposed curse of stagnation and altered the future she had foreseen. It was also the moment she “returned to her body.”
Eventually, Sete gained the courage to use her powers and label outcomes she saw as the “worse ones”, and decided that she would embark on a different future, despite the consequences.

- Foresight
Having the power of photokinesis (light manipulation), Sete has the power to see the future.
- Light Manipulation
Being able to manipulate light, Sete is able to make lasers, being able to summon them at any time, on any spot, in varying sizes and shapes.[1]
The lasers she summons are capable of cutting a large building in half.[2] She is also capable of seeing things thousands of kilometers away from her, her sight expanding across a country with precise detail,[3] and possibly even further. But it should be noted that this can only be done in places with light.[4]
