Officer Medvedev is a character featured in the Dark Aether Saga of Zombies mode. Medvedev is mentioned in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies map Die Maschine. He is a member of Omega Group.
Medvedev, along with Lieutenant Orlov, was volunteered to reactivate the cyclotron particle accelerator within the Projekt Endstation facility, which would enable Omega Group to gain access to the Dark Aether and harness its vast supernatural resources. During their attempt, Orlov successfully reactivates the cyclotron, though its activation would subsequently kill the two soldiers. It is unknown whether or not Medvedev became a Megaton like Orlov.
