Medal

Kill Medals are rewarded whenever a player kills an enemy under circumstances different from a regular kill. This can include killing an enemy before they can kill a teammate, awarding the Savior medal, or killing an enemy that has killed the killer before, awarding the Revenge medal. They are also rewarded with unconventional weapons and equipment, such as the Combat Axe and the Ballistic Knife.

Backfire		Kill an enemy with their own weapon. (The killer must have a secondary weapon.) (Sidenote: it is possible to earn this medal by picking up the ammo of an enemy's weapon, if the player and the enemy have the same weapon and attachments) Reward: 100 XP
Backstabber		Knife an enemy in the back. Reward: 100 XP
Bait Taken		Kill an enemy with a booby-trapped Care Package. Reward: 250 XP
Buzzkill		Kill an enemy before he reaches his next scorestreak. Side Note: The enemy must be one kill away from his/her next scorestreak. Reward: 100 XP
Chopped Up!		Kill an enemy with the Combat Axe. Reward: 100 XP
Comeback		Kill an enemy after dying 3 or more times in a row. Reward: 100 XP
Deadeye		Kill an enemy with the Crossbow. Cannot be a direct-impact kill. The enemy must be killed by the explosion in order to obtain this medal. Cannot be earned in Sticks and Stones. Reward: 100 XP
Dropshot		Kill an enemy shortly after diving to prone. Reward: 100 XP
Efficiency		Kill multiple enemies with a single bullet. Reward: 500 XP
First Blood		Achieve the first kill of the game or round. Reward: 500 XP
Headshot		Kill an enemy by shooting them in the head. Reward: 100 XP
Long Shot		Kill an enemy outside your weapon's best range. Reward: 100 XP
One Shot, One Kill		Kill an enemy at full health with a single shot from a Sniper Rifle. Reward: 100 XP
Revenge		Kill an enemy who killed you before. Reward: 100 XP
Savior		Kill an enemy before they kill a teammate. Reward: 100 XP
Shield Bash		Kill an enemy with the Assault Shield. Reward: 100 XP
Skewered		Kill an enemy with the Ballistic Knife. Does not include melee attacks. Reward: 100 XP
Stick		Stick a semtex to an enemy. Rewarded on stick, not kill. Reward: 100 XP
Survivor		Kill an enemy while badly injured (red screen). Reward: 100 XP
Quad Feed		Kill four players in a short amount of time while being uninterrupted in the Killfeed. Stacks with Rapid Kill medals. Reward: 250 XP

Killstreak Medals are rewarded for going on a killstreak (multiple kills in a single life). Scorestreaks do not contribute to this streak; only kills from weapons, the knife, lethals, tacticals and environmental (such as cars and barrels) are counted. Medals scale until the 31st kill, at which point each non-scorestreak kill will be rewarded with the Unstoppable medal.

Rapid Kill Medals are awarded for killing multiple enemies in a certain timeframe. Unlike previous games, the timeframe to achieve these kills is much larger, and each kill extends the time to achieve the next. As with the Killstreak Medals, scorestreak kills do not contribute to this. Even if the player were to manage continuing their streak soon enough, dying ends the timeframe. Rapid kills contributes, as well, for unlocking titles.

Scorestreak Medals are rewarded for getting direct kills on enemy players from scorestreaks. Due to this, it is impossible to get medals from support scorestreaks such as the UAV. Medals stack, meaning that multiple medals can be awarded from a single scorestreak. Example: a double kill from a Hunter Killer will award two Bullseye medals.

Red Baron		Kill an enemy with the Dragonfire. Reward: 100 XP
Bouncer		Kill an enemy with the A.G.R.. Reward: 100 XP
Silent Killer		Kill an enemy with the Stealth Chopper. Reward: 100 XP

Scorestreak Destroy Medals are rewarded for destroying enemy scorestreaks. This can be done in a variety of ways, be it from using the FHJ-18 AA on a Counter-UAV, to using the Black Hat on a Guardian, or even an EMP (grenade or scorestreak) on any of the scorestreaks. Destroy medals are visually similar to their scorestreak counterparts, but have a dark red background instead of a gold one.

TKO		Destroy an incoming Lightning Strike. NB: It must be destroyed before it delivers its payload. Reward: 125 XP
Scrapped		Destroy an enemy Sentry Gun. Reward: 100 XP
Flyswatter		Destroy an enemy Dragonfire. Reward: 100 XP
Drone Hunter		Destroy an enemy A.G.R.. Reward: 250 XP
Shadow Catcher		Destroy an enemy Stealth Chopper. Reward: 250 XP
Demolished		Destroy an enemy Escort Drone. Reward: 250 XP
Hogtied		Destroy an enemy Warthog. Reward: 200 XP
Uppercut		Destroy an enemy Lodestar. Reward: 250 XP
Big Game Hunter		Destroy an enemy VTOL Warship. Reward: 175 XP
Exterminator		Destroy an enemy Swarm (obtainable through EMP Systems). Reward: 400 XP

Playlist Medals are rewarded in different game modes when certain parameters of obtained, such as capturing flags in Domination or defusing bombs.

Objective medals offer some of the highest XP rewards in the game, incentivising objective play when applicable.

"Any objective game mode" relates to any game mode with a static objective or objective location. To this end, it does not include Kill Confirmed.

Forward Position		Hardpoint	Capture a neutral hardpoint as soon as it appears. Usually earned if at a spot where a Hardpoint spawns. Reward: ?
Hardpoint Secure		Hardpoint	Capture a hardpoint. NB: Hardpoint must have been previously neutral or enemy-controlled. Will not be earned if Hardpoint was controlled by friendlies. Reward: 100 XP
Hero		Demolition, Search & Destroy	Defuse a bomb. Reward: 100 XP
Opening Move		Domination	Capture the neutral B flag. Awards 200 points to the next scorestreak upon doing so. Reward: 500 XP
Playmaker		Capture the Flag	Capture a flag. Reward: 250 XP
Retrieved		Kill Confirmed	Retrieve your own dog tags. Reward: 250 XP
Secure		Domination, Headquarters	Capture an objective. Reward: 100 XP
Takedown		Capture the Flag, Demolition	Kill a flag holder or bomb planter. Reward: 100 XP
Wipeout		Any objective game mode.	Clear the objective of two or more enemies. Reward: 250 XP
Last Man Standing		Search & Destroy	Kill the last player on the enemy team on Search & Destroy when the player is the only one left on his/her team. Reward: 250 XP
Clutch		Search & Destroy	With no teammates alive, defuse the bomb when enemies are alive. Reward: ?

Party Game Medals appear exclusively in the Party Games playlist. They are rewarded from various achievements, such as getting the most kills within a gun rotation in Sharpshooter, or quickly moving up a rank in Gun Game.

Gun Expert		Sharpshooter	Score the most points in a single gun rotation. Reward: 200 XP
Gunslinger		Gun Game	Killed an enemy within 3 seconds of ranking up. Reward: 150 XP
Humiliation		Gun Game	Setback an enemy player by knifing them. Reward: 100 XP
Regicide		Sticks and Stones/Gun Game	Setback the highest scoring player with the knife (in Gun Game) or the Combat Axe (in Sticks and Stones). (Supersedes Bankrupted.) Reward: 500 XP

End of Match Medals are rewarded for finishing any public match.

Kill Medals are rewarded whenever a player kills an enemy under circumstances different from a regular kill much as they are in Call of Duty Black Ops II, however they are more closely based off the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 callouts.

All medals use the same icon however the text description underneath will be all that is different. They are awarded at 5, 7, 10, 15, 20 and 25 kills. Every kill after the 26th kill will use the Unstoppable description.

Bull's Eye		Kill an enemy with Hunter Killer Drone.
Keep it Fresh		Kill an enemy after swapping to a new weapon.
Wall Assist		Kill an enemy through the wall.
One shot, One Kill		Kill an enemy with one shot.
Knockout		Kill an enemy by melee attack.
Long Shot		Kill an enemy with a long-distance shot.
First Kill		First Prop kill in a match.
Prop Hunter		Kill after first prop kill in a match.
Magic Trick		Kiled enemy using detonated C4.
Lethal Contact		Kill an enemy with a Contact Granade.
Blizard Savior		Contributed the most amount of teammate healing in Big Head Blizzard.
Blizzard Beast		Transform into a Blizzard Beast in Big Head Blizzard.
Burglary		Hacked enemy device.

Battle Royale features 27 medals. Unlike multiplayer, medals don't show in-game once player earned them. Medals cannot be earned in the Warfare mode.

Marathon		Run more than 2000 meters.
Never Give Up		Get downed for more than 3 times.
Pacifist		Get in Top 10 with 0 kills.
Life Saver		Revive teammates 4 or more times.
Fully Armed		Equipped the highest level Armor and Attachments on Weapons.
Medic		Recover more than 200 HP.
War Reporter		Survive for a long time with no damage, no healing, no revives and no kills.
Lady Luck		Pick up at least 5 high rarity items.
Optometrist Visit		Weapon accuracy lower than 30%.
Blind Man		Finish the game with less than 10% weapon accuracy.
Spicy Landing		Die within 120 seconds after landing.

Multitasker		Killed an enemy with your gun while climbing over something.
Nosebreaker		Killed an enemy with a gunbutt.

Picked Off		Killed an enemy Driver of a vehicle with a weapon without destroying the vehicle.
Point Blank		Killed an enemy at extremely close range.
Popcorn		Killed 2 or more enemies with a Frag Grenade or M79 grenade.

Sight Unseen		Captured an objective while under the cover of your Smoke Grenade.
Special Delivery		Killed 2 or more enemies rapidly with C4.
Stick		Stuck an enemy with Semtex.
Survivor		Killed the enemy when severely injured.
Weapons Hot		As a driver or pilot, killed an enemy using a vehicle's integrated weapons.

Scorestreak Medals are rewarded for getting direct kills on enemy players from scorestreaks.
