The Cannon is a Rare gun.

The Cannon can be bought for 100,000 from the Advanced Weapon Dealer at Marine Fortress, in First Sea.

The player must talk to the Blacksmith in order to upgrade Cannon.

Pros
General Easy to obtain. Low mastery requirements. All of its moves can damage Sea Events. Second highest damaging gun. Great for First Sea and early Second Sea grinding.
Normal Attack (Tap) Can damage Sea Events. Can break Instinct. Explosion on impact.
[Z] Chain Detonation Good knockback. Good damage. Decent combo potential due to stun.
[X] Incendiary Ammo The flames break Instinct. High damage. Large AoE. Good for grinding.

Cons
General Rubber users are immune from this weapon, as with all guns.
Normal Attack (Tap) Slow so easy to dodge.
[Z] Chain Detonation Slow speed. Lower damage than M1 attack. Relatively small hitbox.
[X] Incendiary Ammo Hard to hit in mid-air. Unreliable as the player is not guaranteed to hit all bullets (and for the mini fire protection to trigger).

Bazooka is an upgraded version of the Cannon, which is a boss drop, unlike Cannon.
Cannon [X] has one less bullet that fires off than Bazooka.
This is the strongest purchasable gun in First Sea.
