Tsuki

Tsuki (Korean: 츠키; Japanese: つき) is a Japanese singer and model currently under MYSTIC Story. She is one of the main dancers and sub vocalists of the South Korean-Japanese girl group Billlie and a former member of the Japanese girl group 7+ME LINK and its sub-unit MAGICOUR.

Career

Pre-debut

Tsuki became an SM trainee in early 2016, when she was just 15 (international age; 13).[3] She adopted the stage name Ravi and moved to Korea to train. After 2 years, due to mental health issues, she gave up her spot in the trainee program and returned to Japan in 2018.

In 2019, Tsuki participated in JYP's 15th Open Audition project, and was one of 32 finalists.[4]

Later that year, Tsuki joined MYSTIC Story, and in October of 2019, Tsuki, alongside Siyoon, represented MYSTIC in the survival audition show Popteen Cover Girl War, hosted by Japanese teen fashion magazine Popteen.[5] As a result, they both became regular models for Popteen starting in November 2019, regularly travelling between Korea and Japan.

2020: MYSTIC Rookies, MAGICOUR, 7+ME LINK

Tsuki was officially revealed as a member of MYSTIC Rookies on February 19, 2020.[6] However, her regular travel between Korea and Japan became unsafe due to the growing COVID-19 pandemic, and she could not travel to Korea to train at MYSTIC.

Tsuki remained in Japan and was a member of gpSTUDIO dance academy alongside Haruna, notably being trained by Hana, the older sister of TWICE's Momo. Both Tsuki and Haruna, as a part of gpSTUDIO, were featured on an episode of Japanese variety show "Matsuko Kaigi" in September of 2020.

On November 25, 2020, Popteen formed a group named 7+ME LINK and debuted their first sub-unit, MAGICOUR. Using the stage name TARU, Tsuki debuted as an original member of the group with the single "MAGIC". However, she graduated from the group on December 15 of the same year as her contract with Popteen ended.

2021: Debut with Billlie

On September 14, 2021, MYSTIC Story announced plans of debuting a new girl group.[7] As a member of MYSTIC Rookies, Tsuki was assumed to be a part of the lineup, and on September 29, she was officially confirmed to be the second member of Billlie.[8] The group debuted on November 10 with their first mini album The Billage of Perception : Chapter One.[9]

2023: Show Champion, Tsuki ENT.VIEW

On January 26, 2023, it was announced that Tsuki, along with Sua and woo!ah!'s Nana, would become the new MCs for MBC's music program Show Champion. Their first broadcast as MCs took place on February 6.[10]

On March 24, it was announced that Tsuki would host an OBC radio show titled "Tsuki ENT.VIEW", a Japanese K-pop information show. It was made available to Korea and Japan starting on April 8, 2023.

Personal Life

Family

Tsuki is her parents' only child.

She can impersonate Japanese subway announcements.[11]

She expressed an admiration for Moon Sua’s rapping skills, Tsuki would like to live like her for a day.
