Siyoon

Siyoon (Hangul: 시윤) is a South Korean rapper, singer, and model currently under MYSTIC Story. She is one of the main rappers and lead dancers in the girl group Billlie.

Career

Pre-debut

By 2012, at seven years old, Siyoon was attending DEF Dance Skool[3], appearing in Boyfriend's "Love Style" MV Teaser[4] later that same year.

Two years later, in 2014, she was featured in an article from English news outlet Reuters, focusing on her as an example of young K-pop trainees[5].

By March of 2019, Siyoon was attending Millennium Dance Academy, a dance school founded by 2NE1's Minzy[6].

Siyoon was accepted as MYSTIC Story trainee in April 2019. In October 2019, Siyoon, alongside Tsuki, represented MYSTIC in the survival audition show Popteen Cover Girl War, hosted by Japanese teen fashion magazine Popteen. As a result, they both became regular models for Popteen starting in November 2019, regularly travelling between Korea and Japan.

2020: Mystic Rookies

Siyoon was officially revealed as a member of MYSTIC Rookies on February 18, 2020.[7]

2021: Debut with Billlie

On September 14, 2021, MYSTIC Story announced plans of debuting a new girl group. As a member of MYSTIC Rookies, Siyoon was assumed to be a part of the lineup, and on September 30, she was officially confirmed as the third member of Billlie.[8] The group debuted on November 10 with their first mini album The Billage of Perception : Chapter One.[9]
