Prince Calin is an eledhel warrior in Betrayal at Krondor. He appears in Chapter 6.
Background
Calin is the son of Queen Aglaranna and the previous king of Elvandar. Along with Warleader Tomas Megarson, he has been working to quell the moredhel raids and wyvern attacks on the northern border of the Green Heart.
After Tomas was wounded by a poisoned moredhel blade, Calin took on his duties as Warlord until such time as he should recover.
Chapter 6
The party meets Calin in an enclosed vale on the eastern edge of the Green Heart. After learning of Gorath's intentions, he explains the current tactical situation, teaches Owyn Beleforte some Stealth Skill, gives him a copy of the cantrip Thy Master's Will to help them survive the wyverns plaguing the forest, and shows Gorath some archery tips which increase his Accy: Crossbow Skill. He also gives them a Key of Lineages and directions around the Green Heart#Sleeping Glades so they can reach the Ancient Valheru Ruins.
Trivia
- Though the party can purchase a Key of Lineages elsewhere, they cannot enter the Ruins without first speaking to Calin, who gives them the Key for free.
