Raymond Cruz (born July 9, 1961) is an American actor who played Distephano in the 1997 film Alien Resurrection. He later lent his voice to the Distephano character in the 2000 video game Alien Resurrection. Other notable films Cruz has appeared in include Under Siege (1992), Clear and Present Danger (1994), The Rock (1996) and Training Day (2001). Aside from his work in film, Cruz has had an extensive career in television. He is perhaps best-known for his roles as Detective Julio Sanchez in the police procedural series The Closer (2005-2012) and as the psychotic drug lord Tuco Salamanca in the crime drama series Breaking Bad (2008-2013) and its spin-off series Better Call Saul (2015-).

- Cruz is one of several actors from the Alien films who has also appeared in the Star Trek franchise. Others include Brad Dourif, Idris Elba, Nicole Fellows, Jenette Goldstein, Leland Orser, Ron Perlman, Mark Rolston, Winona Ryder and Eddie Yansick. All but three of these individuals are from the cast of Alien Resurrection.
