Gillfxy

Gillfxies (ジルフィクシィ, Jirufikushi^?) are a race of beings in the world of Tales of Commons. They are dragon-like creatures born at the same time as a human to accompany them. When either of them dies, the other will perish too. Long ago, Gillfxies use to be bigger but that ability was lost to time.

History

The Third Dionis War, occuring 20 years prior to the event of Tales of Commons, which opposed the two countries of Jupiter and Yinfouyang against one another, caused great losses to the world. One of the major losses was the total disappearance of natural Gillfxies. This prompted the government to create artificial replacements, Ezilfixies (エジルフィクシィ, Ejirufikushi^?). Zecaliath and Menosith (Alvin and Sefina's Gillfxies) were the first new ones to be born after the war.

Notable Gilfixies

• Zecaliath: Appearing in this world for the first time in about 20 years, they act as the partner of Alvin. Their mental age is about the same as his, but they are composed and level-headed. Their gender is unspecified.
• Menosith: A natural Gillfxie who appeared for the first time after the great war alongside Zecaliath. Their mental age is around 15, but they have a strong-willed personality and sometimes speak to Sefina in a somewhat harsh tone. Their gender is also unspecified.
• Shiden: A Gillfxie who follows Seiun as his master. They have been partners with Seiun for many years and fought together in the great war. Their mental age is about the same as him, and their personality is also similar. Their gender is too unspecified.
• Gajetas: This natural Gillfxie travels with You. Their mental age is around 12, making them quite young, but they do their best as You's bodyguard. Their nickname is Gaje, and their gender is unspecified.
• Baptism: A natural Gillfxie accompanying Ferth, following him around like a butler would.
• Auriga: A natural Gillfxie who watches over Kinah warmly, worrying like a mother.
