Yoon San Ha (윤산하; born March 21, 2000), known mononymously as Sanha (산하), is a South Korean singer-songwriter, actor, and model under Fantagio. He is the lead vocalist and maknae of the South Korean boy group ASTRO.
He made his solo debut on August 6, 2024 with the mini album Dusk.
Early life
Yoon San Ha was born on March 21, 2000 in Dobong-gu, Seoul, South Korea. He attended Seoul Gain Elementary School and Baekwoon Middle School. In 2019, he graduated from Hanlim Multi Art School with a focus on Practical Music.[4] Before joining Fantagio, he also attended A-Sound Music Academy, where he took vocal lessons and learned how to play guitar within eighth months.[5] Additionally, his father and brothers also taught him how to play guitar.
Career
2012—15: Pre-debut
Sanha took part in the second Fantagio iTeen audition by singing and playing the guitar. He became a trainee at Fantagio on December 16, 2012, and was the third trainee to be officially introduced with the Fantagio iTeen Photo Test Cut on February 4, 2015.[6] He was almost excluded from ASTRO's line-up due to being too short but was added after having a growth spurt.
Prior to his debut, he starred in the web drama To Be Continued alongside his fellow group members.[7]
2016–present: Debut with ASTRO, Moonbin & Sanha, and solo activities
On February 23, 2016, Sanha debuted as part of the six-member boy group ASTRO with their first extended play Spring Up.[8]
On February 7, 2018, Sanha released the song "Because I'm a Fool" in collaboration with Bily Acoustie. It was later included on the album FM201.8.[9] In July, he became one of the hosts for the SBS MTV variety show Yogobara, which focused on consulting and giving advice to teenagers.[10] In September, he competed on the 171st and 172nd episode of King of Mask Singer under the alias "Autumn Boy."[11]
In July 2019, he was confirmed as one of the MCs for the tvN D variety talk show Night Of Blanket Kicks alongside MJ.[12] The same year, he made his acting debut as Tae Oh in the web drama Love Formula 11M.[13] He also collaborated with AOA's Chanmi for the drama's OST "One More Chance."[14]
Sanha released his second OST "Break" for the web drama Kkindae on February 27, 2020.[15] On March 4, he was announced as the new host for the South Korean music show Show Champion alongside fellow group member Moonbin and VERIVERY's Kangmin.[16] On August 14, Fantagio confirmed that Sanha would be part of ASTRO's first sub-unit Moonbin & Sanha and that their first EP In-Out would be released on September 14, 2020.[17][18] Their title track "Bad Idea" received its first win only eight days after its release, making it the fastest sub-unit song to receive a first win.[19]
Personal Life
Sanha's family consists of his parents and his two older brothers Junha, who was born in 1995, and Jeha, born in 1998. He is Christian.
