The twelfth season of Archer was announced on October 21, 2020[1] and premiered on August 25, 2021, with two episodes, followed by another six in the weeks following. In total, Archer season 12 has eight episodes.
Season Synopsis
Sterling Archer and the agency navigate the changing landscape of the spy world and face a new threat: a spy conglomerate known as IIA (International Intelligence Agency). With a limited number of spy jobs up for grabs, can the Agency compete against the soulless vultures of IIA, or will our mom-and-pop spy agency be the next to get swallowed alive?

Trivia
- This will be the last season to feature Jessica Walter as the voice of Malory Archer following her death in March 2021; Walter had recorded most of her lines for the season beforehand. Due to Jessica’s death, the ending of Season 12 was changed somewhat to have Malory retire from Spying to live out the rest of her life with her husband Ron who was voiced by Jessica’s real life husband who passed away in 2019.
