The Golden Leaf is a limited legendary food item in Adopt Me! that was released on August 4, 2022. Players were able to purchase it for 
199 in the Butterfly Sanctuary, however, now that the Butterfly Sanctuary has been removed from the game, the Golden Leaf can only be obtained by trading with other players.
The Golden Leaf is used to obtain one of three different butterfly pets. When using the Golden Leaf, players have a 60% chance of obtaining an Orange Butterfly (Ultra-Rare), a 37.5% chance of obtaining a Green Butterfly (Legendary), and a 2.5% chance of obtaining a Diamond Butterfly (Legendary).
Appearance
The Golden Leaf features a yellow-gold leaf and stem with lighter yellow lines on the inside.
The Process of Taming a Butterfly
In order to tame a butterfly, a player must firstly equip the Golden Leaf from their inventory. After doing so, a player may click anywhere on their screen to open the Golden Leaf, then once it is opened, a player will receive either an Orange Butterfly, a Green Butterfly, or a Diamond Butterfly.
