Quade (Bacon in Japanese) is a fictional character from Zoids: Wild. He is the leader of Team Supreme, and pilot of the Zaber Fang.

Overview

Zoids Wild

Quade leads Team Supreme. He is well known as a famous, powerful, Zoid Seeker. Initially he seeks the Liger, before meeting Arashi. While not strictly a part of the resistance force, he and Team Supreme oppose the Dark Metal Empire. His goal was to search for the "Ancient Treasure Z".

He is shown to have a deep bond with his Zoid, the Zaber Fang, as well as having met Arashi's Father in the past.

Quade serves as a major character during the start season 1 in Zoids Wild.

In the episde 13, Quade is forced to fight the leader of the Dark Metal Empire, Gigaboss. He is ultimately killed by Gigaboss in a pitched battle against Demise.

In the past, Quade was shown to have met many of the major characters in the series. He trained under Master Bug, alongside Gigaboss. He proved to be the stronger of the two, constantly besting Gigaboss. This defeat caused Gigaboss to seek stronger and stronger Zoids, eventually reaching up to Demise. Quade's defiance of Gigaboss caused him to steal part of a Zoid Key from him. This key eventually handed on to Arashi.

Quade had also met Arashi's father, Salt, and Mitsuba before the events of the series took place.

He appears in the manga in much the same way as in the Anime.

Personality

Quade is a cool and collected leader of his group. Quade proves a life-long friend and mentor to many of the key characters in the series, having formed Team Supreme, inspired Team Freedom, trained with Gigaboss under Master Bug, met Arashi's Father, and protected the young child Mitsuba. In nearly every instance Quade's attitude is shown to be genuine, caring, fun-loving, hard-working and passionate about Zoids.

Ability as a Zoid pilot

Quade is the leader of Team Supreme and widely renowned as a legendary Zoid Seeker. As such, his is one of the most powerful allies in the series. He helps train Arashi, and teaches him of the Wild Blast. He manages to defeat Gigaboss's Gilraptor in single combat, even when Gigaboss uses his Dark Blast.

Relationships

Quade has his own unique relationships with the following characters:

Arashi: One of the first Zoids pilots Arashi meets, Quade and Arashi get along well, although their personalities tend to clash a bit. Before Arashi forms Team Freedom, it is clear that Quade was willing to offer Arashi a place in Team Supreme. Quade's respect for Arashi allows him to put everything on the line to defend him.

Gigaboss: It is revealed that Quade and Gallagher were once friends, and trained together in their youth under the same Zoid Master.

• Like many characters in Zoids Wild, Quade's Japanese name "Bacon" is based on food.
• Quade is the only main protagonist to die in a Zoids series, though his Zoid was seen active in episode 37 onwards.
