"Arachne 2" is the twenty-fourth released episode of Zero Game by Zelbasen. Mr. X sentences Loveme to a 10-day imprisonment for breaking rules. Hanna, Alex, and Johan battle Arachne at its lair.
Plot
Mr. X arrives at the Ability Shop in time to prevent Loveme from killing Jay. Though delighted at first, Jay quickly becomes angry when Mr. X declares that Loveme will not perish for trying to kill her. Jay protests that Loveme interfered with the game, attempting to harm Jay and giving Jay’s exact coordinates to Elliot. Mr. X kindly explains that Loveme is allowed to interfere at that level, considering she did not succeed in killing Jay. He then announces that since PVP is not allowed in the Neutral Zone, Loveme is sentenced to 10 days of imprisonment and Jay is ordered to immediately return home.
At the entrance of Arachne's Nest, Hanna continues fight the monster, experimenting with the combined Flame and Qi abilities she copied. Short-distance attacks prove to be useless against the monster’s speed, so Hanna uses the thrust of a fire explosion to charge at the monster, kicking it to the ground. The spider adapts and increases its attacks and durability. Hanna manages to shove explosives into the monster’s mouth, but her arm is caught by its jaws as the flares explode. Severely injured from the explosion but pleased to have defeated the monster, Hanna dabs at her wounds with Holy Water before fainting.
Meanwhile, Johan asks Alex to allow him to take care of things if Arachne transforms into someone Johan knows. As they face Arachne, however, it takes the appearance of Elliot. Unfazed, Alex impales Arachne with the Divine Sword, scoffing at the irony that it transformed into the person he wants to beat up the most. Suddenly, the explosion Hanna created outside the nest causes the ground to tremble. Taking advantage of a distracted Alex, Arachne wrenches the dagger out of its chest and attacks Alex. Johan explains that simply stabbing Arachne will not kill it; instead, they need to destroy its core, the eye covered by its hair. With a clear target in sight, Alex and Johan team to challenge Arachne.
