Rito Gear

The Rito Gear is a recurring archetype of Weapon in The Legend of Zelda series.[1]

Location and Uses

Breath of the Wild

Rito Gear is weaponry crafted by the Rito. It is designed to be both lightweight and sturdy, in order to be usable by Rito warriors during flight.[2][3] Rito Bows are also engineered for swift aerial combat, and they are designed to be drawn faster than normal Bows in order to afford a higher rate of fire.[4][5]

A majority of Rito Gear is constructed out of wood, which makes them vulnerable to burning when exposed to Fire or a Scorching Climate. They will float if they are dropped in Water, they cannot be picked up with the Magnesis Rune, and they will not conduct Electricity or attract Lightning during Thunderstorms. The inverse is true of the Feathered Edge and Feathered Spear, which are made out of metal.
