Dimitri is a character from The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons. He is a Dodongo with the power of swimming, allowing Link to cross deep water when riding him. He can also be picked up with the Power Bracelet. Oddly, he does not seem to have the power to breathe fire, unlike other members of his species. He is also a docile Dodongo with a friendly disposition, and keeps his horn blunted to uphold his pacifistic nature. He can be summoned with Dimitri's Flute.

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages
In Oracle of Ages, Dimitri is first encountered on Crescent Island after Link has completed the third dungeon, Moonlit Grotto. He is being bothered by some Tokay. However, after Link feeds them Ember Seeds, they have a bad case of heartburn and disappear. After thanking him, Dimitri helps him get back to the mainland of Labrynna.
If Link purchases a Strange Flute from Lynna City's shop prior to entering the Nuun Highlands, Dimitri will join him and give him his flute.
The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons
In Oracle of Seasons, Dimitri is first encountered when Link is searching for Zora's Flippers in the Sunken City. He is being pestered by some of the local children, but they disappear if Link gives them bombs.
If Link wins a Strange Flute from the Subrosian Dance Hall prior to entering Natzu, he will find Dimitri being pestered by Moblins in Spool Swamp. After he gives them a total of eighty Rupees, Dimitri will join him and give him his flute. He is the only one of Link's partners who is able to enter the Sunken City.
