Veibae (birthday: December 11) is an independent VTuber from England.^[1]

While she was independent at debut, Veibae was affiliated with VShojo from April 12, 2021 until April 26, 2023, when she and Silvervale chose not to renew their contracts with the agency. As of current she is independent.^[2][3]

Content

Veibae's first videos were shitposts, like her dancing to meme songs such as crab rave and conquerer.^[4] The channel was primarily for highlights of her from Twitch, like her playing Dark Souls and Grand Theft Auto.^[5][6] However her most well known series was her learning Japanese through Sekiro.^[7][8][9] A popular streamer on Twitch, she would teach people how to use its features like emotes.^[10] In August 2020 she celebrated 100,000 subscribers.^[11] She has also played Cyberpunk and Genshin Impact, the latter of which she has spent a lot of money on. She also streams variety games on Twitch.

In April 12, 2021, she announced her partnership with VShojo, as well as announcing her new model.^[12] She said she intended to use both 2D and 3D variants of her model in the past, saying "I'll take as many Ds as I can."

Collaborations

After joining VShojo, she married fellow VTuber Silvervale (who she had considered a best friend for a long time), in a VR Ceremony officiated by Nyatasha Nyanners. However she has said that she has a crush on Nyanners, and considered marriage proposals to Snuffy, and anyone who buys her merchandise.

Kiara Takanashi is a huge fan of her, and Veibae has said she thinks of Kiara as her step-sister. They were scheduled to collaborate but this never came to fruition.

She was featured on BBC News and appeared on Episode 3 of Lewdcast.^[13]

Personal life

She has one brother, who appeared on stream, greeting her viewers with "Hey Weebs".^[15] She has two cats and a dog.^[16][17]

She is half Polish from her mom's side^[18].

She doesn't want kids.^[19]

She lives in Texas, United States, with fellow streamer Sodapoppin.^[20]

Controversy

Lying about hololive

During a livestream in October 2020, Veibae spread lies^[21] about how hololive and their talents operated.

Later Vei would address the drama^[22].

Records

During Q2, 2022, Veibae was amongst the top ten of the most viewed female viewers based on peak viewers.^[23]

Partnerships

When Russia invaded Ukraine, all 7 members of VShojo's first generation collaborated with charity Project Hope to raise medicial supplies to assist Ukrainians^[24].

Fandom

Her fandom is known as Vei's Lair.

Though her native tongue is English, a lot of her tweets are in Japanese, which has resulted in her having a huge fanbase there. She is considered the most popular VShojo member in Japan. She also has a sizable fanbase from Poland after she spoke Polish on stream.
