Trickywi

Trickywi, also known as Nephasis^{[citation needed]}, Nephy^{[citation needed]} or Tricky^{[citation needed]} is an American^{[citation needed]} independent VTuber.

Content

Prior to her VTuber debut on July 23, 2021, Trickywi was a Pokémon YouTuber and would make videos of Pokémon episodes, playthroughs, lists, her opinions on Pokémon, what inspired certain Pokémon and miscellaneous details related to the franchise. She would also make videos of herself playing the piano, which was entirely self-taught.

After she debuted as a VTuber, she began uploading Twitch highlights to her second channel, though she reserved her original channel for uploading original music starting with Perish Song, which also credited YZYX as a producer, and her debut stream.

Her content has shifted from being about Pokémon to a variety streamer.^{[citation needed]}

Collaborations

She appeared in one of PorcelainMaid's Date Night streams and has also collaborated with Numi. She has collaborated with Cimrai multiple times. Trickywi, Cimrai, bao and Yuzu played Phasmophobia together.^[1]

Design

She illustrated her own concept design, however her original model was illustrated by Henri, while Ringeko illustrated her mummy model.^[2][3] Dena illustrated her harpy dragon form and drew her ghost familiars^[4]. Her model creator and L2D rigger is Dya Rikku, who also rigged her dragon model.^[5]

Hiroshi Murasaki created her logo^[6].

Lore

Tricky's current state is a consequence of her past, as she was once powerful enough to cause widespread destruction and shift the very time of day itself. Unlike her fellow harpy dragons, Tricky was born without an intrinsic element, which led to her being ostracized by her family and peers. Slowly, a bitterness began to grow in Tricky, a desperation that eventually led to her seeking out elements of her own. ^{[citation needed]}

She was eventually tricked by a group of bandits to help them steal a cursed relic and, upon taking the relic for herself, gained power that was beyond her control. This power began to corrode at her mind and paired with the further disapproval of those around her, drove her beyond sense. With her powers now out of control, a battle was eventually waged against her. ^{[citation needed]}

Tricky was defeated and left for dead, but her adoptive grandmother faked her death and put her into a sleep that lasted many centuries. Upon waking up, Tricky lacked any memory of her past, but still felt drawn to a life of crime and piracy, much to the disapproval of her grandmother. With her grandmother's passing, Tricky felt an urge to reform herself, returning to Egypt with the goal of regaining her lost powers and forming meaningful relationships.^{[citation needed]}

• Trickywi is accompanied by six ghost familiars, Cupid, Xiboo, Chillaboo, Spoodle, Diaboo, and Booba. However, of all of them, Diaboo and Booba have yet to be seen, as Diaboo is shy and Booba resides in her shirt.^[7]

Partnerships

On January 28, 2023, Weebcon announced that SenZ, Yuzu, Nihmune, FeFe, Onigiri, Chibidoki, Sinder, Rainhoe, FalseEyeD, Bao, Trickywi, Vienna and rpr, amongst others, would appear at their convention.^[8]
