Omi_VT (birthday: May 15)^{[citation needed]} is an American^{[citation needed]} independent VTuber.^[1] He is primarily active on Twitch.

Content

Omi debuted on July 23, 2022, on Twitch.^[2] His debut stream has not been uploaded to his YouTube channel, and cannot be found, though clips and VODs of it exist.

His YouTube channel is dedicated to clips and highlights from his Twitch streams, where usually plays games or hosts chatting streams. He has streamed himself playing the games Persona 5 Royal, Catherine, Valiant Hearts: The Great War, Five Nights At Freddy's, Mush Dash, Stepmania, Genshin Impact, Little Nightmares, GRIS, Don’t Starve Together, Hollow Knight, LA Noire, Pokemon Scarlet Violet, Papers, please, The Dark Pictures Anthology, Plants vs Zombies: Garden War 2, Stray, God of War: Ragnarok and Death Stranding: Director's Cut amongst several others.^{[3][4][5][6][7][8]} In his chatting streams, Omi often discusses food, as he used to be a bartender.

Though he doesn't sing often, he has held karaoke streams before.^[9] At times he attempts something new, like eating 100 McDonald's chicken nuggets on stream.^[10] He also uploads shorts on his YouTube channel.

His character designer is kamo. He shares his illustrator with Elizabeth Clementine, Maya the Harpy, yuureiyure, ironmouse (fourth model), YuniNya, Ozzy Owl, Josephine Miracle, Kohaito Kilobite, Alphena and Juna Unagi. Omi is 5'7, or 170cm.^[33]

He L2D rigged his own VTuber model, though originally, his rigger was Enma Akatsuki.^[34]

His web and graphics were made by Murasaki Hiroshi.^[35]

Lore

“Omi” is a spirit that most of the time tries to act as an evil spirit. He does his best to scare both children and adults. In reality, he’s pretty kind and benevolent and one of the most diligent and clean spirits.^{[citation needed]}

He doesn’t know what kind of spirit he is, so he tries to emulate other more well-known spirits, such as the Yokai, to get better and better. He admires spirits like Kuchisake-onna and Jiangshi.^{[citation needed]}

He is on the clean side of spirits because he was very sick in his past life and unable to do almost anything. Eating good food, going out or doing anything by himself was very difficult for him. He chose the name “Omi” because it sounds reassuring and pleasant.^{[citation needed][36]}
