Joseph Jason Namakeha Momoa[1] (born: August 1, 1979),[1] better known professionally as Jason Momoa,[1] is an American actor[1] best known for portrayals such as Khal Drogo from Game of Thrones,[2] Aquaman in the DC Extended Universe,[3][4] and Dante Reyes from Fast X.[5]
Personal Life
Momoa was born on August 1, 1979, in Honolulu, Hawaii to photographer Coni Lemke and painter Joseph Momoa. After the divorce of his parents, his mother would raise him in Norwalk, Iowa where he graduated from Norwalk High School. Momoa has 2 kids named Lola Iolani Momoa and Nakoa-Wolf Momoa, an uncle named Brian L. Keaulana (who is a Hawiian lifeguard, professional surfer, stuntman etc.[6]), and formerly married to actress Lisa Bonet from October 7, 2017, until their divorce on July 9, 2024.[1]
YouTube history
The YouTube channel was created on November 2, 2018. On November 26 of the same year, the first video "The beginning of it all" was posted. The video highlighted the beginning of a worldwide press tour for the movie Aquaman with China as its starting point. Videos of the tour would conclude on January 3, 2019, with "Going back to my roots in Hawaii during the last stop of the Aquaman tour.". Momoa's content consist of behind-the-scene footage of movies or TV shows he is apart of, personal projects, interviews, and collaborations.
The channel has been inactive since the posting of "Dune: Working w/the Cast" on November 29, 2021.
