Collaborations

Ivorycello has collaborated with prison creator SeenSven, prison redstone engineer TheDeafCreeper, prison creator MiningBlob, and another prison creator who goes by jjkay03 for lore purposes and for prison entrances.

Prison Escapes (MythrodakTV)

Ivorycello's channel was slowly growing but the thing that got her really popular was when she made a video about escaping the famous prison Poseidon's Vault alone. Then she started escape other prisons such as Hades Vault, Titan's Vault, Glacier's Orb, Ares Vault, and then, she made a video about escaping the famous Dream SMP prison Pandora's Vault, and finally escaping Gaia's Vault, which was the peak of the lore she included in her prison escape videos. Recently, though, she released a video titled Escaping Minecraft's Abyss that has revealed more backstory and lore connecting back to the video where she escaped from Gladiator Pit.

However, her prison escapes have led to controversies, such as Minecraft prison YouTuber Jerrylum posting a video attempting to explain why Ivory's escapes were invalid. After escaping Gaia's Vault, she added in lore, and started focusing on PvP, the first goal of her channel. All of her prison escapes can be found in this playlist.

Poseidon's Vault

This was the first prison escape video Ivorycello made. In this video, she escaped from a prison built by SeenSven. The prison was inspired by Awesamdude's own prison, named Pandora's Vault. This was the start of the prison escapes and is what first made Ivorycello become so popular.

In this video, the style for the rest of the prison escapes is established. First, Ivorycello(/Mythrodak) explains what the prison is, who built it, and how it works. She then explains her process of getting in and out of the prison in 'phases,' which is a term you'll see in her video outlines on YouTube.

In the next video, Ivorycello admits that there were flaws in her escape from Poseidon's Vault.

Although there is no obvious lore in the video (though there's some speculation), Ivorycello spoke dramatically and with underlying storyline. During the video, Ivory speaks and acts like this prison was meant to hold something, not acknowledging that it's in a flat world with virtually nowhere to go. She acts through the escape and pretends there are real guards, as well as analyzing how a real player would react to her moves.

This is a very light form of roleplay, the kind of thing most people don't consider to be 'real' roleplaying.

Hades' Vault

This is the second prison escape video in the prison escape playlist. In this video, Ivorycello(/Mythrodak) escapes from Hades' Vault, as the title of this video suggests. This is the first video with blatant lore; the intro started with SeenSven being asked whether he's built it yet, by an offscreen character with a distorted voice and orange captions. Later, this is conformed to be Plumpkin, a character who claims to be the protector of the realm. The conversation goes on and Plumpkin asks Sven whether Ivorycello would be able to escape from the prison, to which Sven tells Plumpkin that he absolutely cannot. Of course, due to the video's pure existence, we can see that Sven was very very wrong.

This prison is an aesthetic opposite of Poseidon's Vault, with lava flowing down the sides and a much much larger exterior. Essentially, it's something that would be extremely hard to build in survival. Possible, but very difficult. Plus it looks really cool.

This video introduces DeafCreeper, who assisted SeenSven in the creation of Hades' Vault.

The prison is built on a massive scale, with quite a bit of redstone and a copious number of elder guardians, but it has only one cell. Although it looks like the Nether on the outside, the cell is underwater-- a tactical advantage as it takes longer to break blocks underwater.

Lore (MythrodakTV)

After her first Minecraft prison escape video, Ivorycello added in lore. In the series she is playing a character called "Mythrodak".

In "The Abyss" "Mythrodak" is trapped in her mind. But she has no control over it because a friend who turned on her, Plumpkin, who is voiced by an unknown person (potentially Ivory herself), has killed her pet parrot named after the famous prison Japanese prison escapist "Shiratori" which was also the only thing "Mythrodak" loved. Due to the only thing she loved dying, she was put into a mental state in which Plumpkin could take control of her mind. In her mind, Plumpkin and SeenSven were able to enter her mind. At the end, she went into a sandy beach's waters, and The Beginning video was displayed. In that video, you can see her in a foggy world while she was under water in a sandy beach. The same place in "The Abyss" video. In "Escaping Minecraft's Hardest Prisons With Dirt", we see "Mythrodak" standing in the same water as when "The Abyss" video cuts, with white text saying "This won't bring him back", referring to Shiratori, before cutting to a black screen.

Much of her lore surrounds a 'prophecy' that so far has been disclosed to viewers. According to Plumpkin, this prophecy details Ivorycello killing everyone. Plumpkin, who is the 'guardian of this realm', then commissioned SeenSven to build a prison for Ivory, in the hopes that it would prevent the prophecy from coming true. Like all Greek tragedies, however, it was the act of preventing the prophecy from coming true that led up to it actually happening.
