F4mi

Amber[1] (born January 13, 1998 (1998-01-13) [age 27]),[4] better known online as f4mi (pronounced and sometimes spelt as fami[5]), or f4micom,[1] is a YouTuber known for her documentary videos on technology-related sensations.

History

She uploaded her first video on April 26, 2019 (the same day as her channel's creation), which is a quick tutorial on how to make "a GLaDOS-like voice" using Audacity and Melodyne.[6] She later made a video on showcasing "Microsoft Plus! Dancer", a defunct program made by Microsoft for the Windows XP on May 25.[7]

On June 26, 2022, she made a video where she finds the identity of the composer for the banner music of the Homebrew Channel (drmr), and managed to get an interview with him through Twitter DMs.[8] It gained major traction on early 2024, which Amber correlated to her making a community post, possibly boosting the video into the algorithm.[9][10] It is currently her second most viewed video.[11]
