James Lee Baker (born: May 19, 1996), better known professionally as BlocBoy JB, is an American musician known for his music.
Early life
Baker was born on May 19, 1996, in Memphis, Tennessee. His father was jailed for most of Baker's life, breaking out in 2008 just to see him for a short period of time. He began making music at age 14.
Career
Baker firstly made music on SoundCloud in 2012. He released his first mixtape, Who Am I, in 2016. He released the song, Shoot, in 2017, making a "dance craze." He released Rover in 2018, catching the attention of Drake, who later collaborated with him on the song, Look Alive. He released his extended debut play, Don't Think That, in 2018.

Baker created his channel on May 21, 2014, and uploaded his first video on December 18, 2014. He uploads music videos and audio he has made onto his channel.
