Bing is an American[1] search engine owned and operated by Microsoft.[2]
History
The origins of Bing traces back to Microsoft's early search engines. One search engine, MSN Search, was launched in 1998.[3] The engine would be succeeded by Live Search in 2006.[4] In 2009, Live Search was renamed to Bing as a way to provide faster search results.[5]
Channel
The channel was created on October 1, 2005, and the first video was uploaded sometime in 2009.[6] The channel uploads how-to videos and other educational videos.[7] The channel stopped uploading after uploading a video on February 20, 2019,[8] and later uploaded a video on December 9, 2021, after over 2 years.[9][10]
Since the Bing AI (Now Microsoft Copilot) release, the channel had started uploading videos and shorts about Bing AI chatbot since 2023, their first video within that year was the unveiling of Bing AI.[11] The latest video was uploaded on November 15, 2023, titled Use AI to Boost Productivity with Copilot and Microsoft Edge for Business.[12]
