Shocking!! His First Love Was *** (Japanese: 衝撃！！ 初恋の人は○○だった Shōgeki!! Hatsukoi no Hito wa ￮￮ Datta), is the 1st episode of the Y School Heroes anime series and season 1 premiere. It was broadcasted in Japan on December 27, 2019.
Summary
This is the story of "Y", where everyday starts and ends in the same cycle with one thing in common, an entrance to a mysterious world. One day, a student named Sandayu Koma transfers into a new school where he meets Jinpei Jiba, and the two immediately become fast friends. Among their topics, Jinpei starts consulting with Koma about "romance and confessions" where for some reason he falls for a high school girl at the train station. The next day, Jinpei and Sandayu tail her for a chance to talk, but also notices a suspicious stalker as well...
Plot

At the beginning, YouTuber Naokiman delivers a presentation relating to death, afterlife and parallel dimensions and theorizes that humans are said to go to another dimension that is "said to co-exist inside them", taking the meaning of the spiritual world into context. The scene moves to an ordinary city, where the narration states that life is regularly the same as usual but explains about a portal that exists in the world, codenamed "Y" and says how it all began.
A adolescent boy with red hair named Jinpei Jiba, waits at a train station and notices a girl who develops an affection for when he looks at her. When the train arrives, the others get in while Jinpei looks at the girl, but she unexpectedly disappears when a human passes by Jinpei's viewpoint, with a slight reaction before he gets through the train doors.
Jinpei arrives in the classroom at school, feeling tired whilst the teacher introduces a new student to the class who is a boy named Sandayu Koma. After Sandayu introduces himself, he goes to sit at the back of the classroom, next to Jinpei where he suddenly notices a keychain of a character from a franchise he likes. Jinpei is surprised at how many gasha cranks it took for Sandayu to get the figurine and both go on to talk about how they both like the series they're into throughout the day, forming a friendship between the two.
Afterwards, Jinpei suddenly thinks about the girl whom he keeps meeting at the train station on the way to school and asks Sandayu if he knew what love is. The former further explained that Jinpei gets feelings of affection each time he looks at her, and questioned if it was to do with being lovesick. Despite not knowing about love that much, Sandayu assumes that it may be the case. Jinpei doesn't know what to do, but Sandayu says that Jinpei should ask her to be his girlfriend.
