Plot
Country Folk'll Try Anything, Once! Spa Massage
The Beach Story: Oh, It's Roughraff
Nate and his friends visit the beach, with Yo-kai Roughraff and Swosh there. Roughraff make Nate, Bear, and Eddie daydream of what Katie's swimsuit will look like.
The Infamous Beach Story: Yo-kai Swosh
After the events of the last segment, Nate asks Whisper and Jibanyan if Roughraff has left the beach. They both respond about Nate having so much fun at the beach, they forgot they were inspirited by the Yo-kai and claim that having weird thoughts are normal. Nate notices Eddie appreciating the sea, with Bear noticing him in a calmer mood.
An instructor calls the others for a game of dodge-ball, Nate asks Eddie to join the game and accepts the request in a sharp manner. During the game, the dodge-ball lands right in Eddie's face but he doesn't mind the pain and shrugs it off. Nate suddenly thinks that something suspicious might be causing his calmness, and uses his Yo-kai Watch to find Yo-kai Swosh causing the situation.
Later on, Eddie accidentally misses the volleyball in a game and goes to collect it only for a seagull to poop on his head. As usual, Eddie didn't mind it at all and makes Nate and Bear worried about him. Suddenly, Katie and her friends like Eddie's calmness which makes the two shocked about how he's now getting attention towards girls. While Eddie plays the guitar for Katie and the other girls, Bear and Nate wonder how he is suddenly liked.
Whisper explain that girls like guys with big and forgiving hearts, leading to Nate and Bear wanting to be inspirited by Swosh. After they both get possessed, Nate, Bear and Eddie start to breathe in the fresh air of the sea. This makes Katie and her friends get flattered by them. A big wave suddenly splashes over the three, even though they don't mind it at all and decide to go for a swim in the ocean.
Their swimming trunks start to slowly fall off, which gets the girls creeped out and another big wave splashes them over again, only for them to completely wash the trunks off into the sea. The girls start to get scared, and Whisper tries to tell Nate about their swimming trunks washed away only for them to completely ignore him outright. After the girls run away, Whisper explains to him about them having to cover themselves up.
The others try on different things, such as Nate putting on a washed-up plastic bag, Bear wearing seaweed and Eddie covering it up with a seashell. When Bear tries wearing a crab, Nate puts wears an octopus which makes others agree with Nate's idea. Whisper tries to fix the situation, but Jibanyan tells him to leave them alone.
Swosh is impressed at how Nate, Bear and Eddie are one with the sea and leaves by making his way into the ocean while he leaves his Yo-kai Medal behind. After the Yo-kai leaves, Nate, Bear and Eddie all realise that they have octopi covering their parts up which has managed to cause a disturbance with their parents and manages to get mad at Swosh for inspiriting him.
