Arena Season 6 (Furious) began on April 21, 2009 with the release of patch 3.1.0 and ended on August 25, 2009. This was the first season where arena teams started at 0 rating instead of 1500.

- Some items can drop from Emalon the Storm Watcher (25-man) and Koralon the Flame Watcher (10-man) in Vault of Archavon. These include back, feet, finger, hands, legs, neck, waist, and wrist.
- Back, feet, finger, neck, waist and wrist can no longer be obtained by
[Honor Points] or 
[Justice Points], but they still drop in the Vault of Archavon.
- Furious Gladiator weapons are no longer available.
