Saran Khan was a previous khan of Clan Ohn'ir, buried in a kurgan just west of Maruukai in the Ohn'ahran Plains. During 
[62-65] Bloodlines, Sweets, and Teerai, a party consisting of Hunter Narman, Matchmaker Osila, and Elder Odgerel summon Saran's spirit so that Narman can ask for her blessing in proposing to her grandson, Windsage Dawa. Saran says that she will allow it as long as Narman and Dawa's love is true, then disappears.
