Rhunok is the Drakkari loa of arctic bears. His spirit ensures the death of his physical manifestation, to prevent the Drakkari from stealing his power.
When his prophet first tried to absorb the loa's power, he absorbed too much and subsequently killed himself. However, the priests of Rhunok quickly resurrected the prophet and not before long, the prophet was back to claiming the power of the loa.[2] Rhunok's physical form was then kept alive by his twisted followers, leaving Rhunok's spirit trapped and tormented; only able to watch. To stop his prophet and end his suffering, Rhunok asked an adventurer to revive him and then slay him.[3] He was eventually released from this imprisonment by adventurers, who ended his suffering.[4]
However, Rhunok someday will return and his spirit will live forever.[5]
