Tridart

Tridart (also known as Tridart the Despair) is one of the Knights of Revenge, created by Nerissa. Tridart was made from the numerous icy stalactites found in the cave which Nerissa was sealed in. Tridart appeared in both Arc 2 of the Comics and Season 2 of the Series. In the TV series, he is voiced by Jim Cummings.

Appearance

His form is that of a bald, tall, muscular man made from ice with large, angel-like wings, and his weapon of choice is a short, double-edged axe.

Plot

Comics

Tridart represents the despair Nerissa felt in her prison.^{[citation needed]} He was absorbed by Nerissa in the final battle, alongside Embers.^[1]

TV series

In the TV series, he was one of the Four Knights of Destruction, created by Nerissa using her Quintessence power from the numerous icy stalactites found around the cave which Nerissa was sealed in. He represents the despair Nerissa felt in her prison. He gets his power from the despair and fear of his opponents, and his primary target is Hay Lin as the despair she felt over Eric Lyndon not noticing her and her fear of losing her grandmother Yan Lin to Nerissa made him more powerful.^[2]

He was destroyed by his own creator, as he and his form were absorbed by Nerissa when she reformed C.H.Y.K.N. to be Guardians again and as he was created from organic material he disappeared completely.^[3]

Powers and abilities

Tridart controls the element of ice being able to manifest it in various shapes and compositions. His weapon is an axe from which he can conjure icy blasts and shield. Due to his wings he is also capable of flight. As a knight of destruction he is capable of [[^{[citation needed]}
