Jamayeda

Jamayeda is a minor character in Arc 3: A Crisis on Both Worlds. She is the deceased mother of Maqi and the wife of Ari.

Plot

Like Ari, Jamayeda was born in a farmer village and eventually fell in love with Ari and married the young man. They had a son named Maqi, but she died shortly afterward giving birth to her son. This caused Ari grief, but what pained him more was his son's strange ailment.^[1]

When the Guardians transferred the gift of Xin Jing to Maqi, Jamayeda was shown while the Guardians tried to heal the fatally injured Maqi.^[2]
