Mii Channel is the channel that is used to create Mii characters, which can be used in a variety of games, such as Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort, Mario Kart Wii, Wii Fit, and Wii Play. The Mii Channel comes pre-installed with all models with the Wii. The now-defunct Check Mii Out Channel used Miis that the player had created on the Mii channel to be able to be entered into contests, and to simply upload and see other people's craftsmanship.
Overview
In the Mii Channel, the player can make a Mii of whatever they want with a variety of options for hair, eyes, noses, mouths, and favorite colors. They can also adjust their weight and width of the Mii that they're making. All Miis are available in the Mii Plaza, where if the player is idle, then they'll start doing quirky actions such as talking with each other, walking, and even sneezing. They can be sent to the Mii Parade, to "mingle" with other Miis from Wii Friends with that came onto their Wii. From there, they can put them back in the Mii Plaza. Putting Miis in the Mii Parade will delete their game data and their birthday. Miis from Wii Friends can no longer come due to WiiConnect24 being discontinued in 2013, though it is possible to have Miis from Wii Friends come with RiiConnect24 (now WiiLink).
Wii Remote Storage
An option given in the Mii Channel is to save a Mii into the Wii Remote, for a maximum of ten Miis on one remote. From here, the Mii characters on the Wii Remote can be brought to another Wii console so that the owner of the other Wii console can use those Miis on their plaza.
Nintendo DS Connection
The Mii Channel has an option to connect to select Nintendo DS games such as Tomodachi Collection and Personal Trainer: Walking. The Mii Channel can also connect to the Nintendo 3DS to bring Miis into the 3DS' Mii Maker, but not vice versa. To unlock the option, the player needs to press A, B, 1, and then hold 2 on their Wii Remote for a few seconds, until a screen appears, looking for Nintendo DS systems nearby with one of the select games while connecting. From there on, the icon will appear in the Mii Channel, thus getting rid of the need of the button method.

- In addition, it's one of the only two channels alongside the Disc Channel to be pre-installed on every single model of the Wii.
- Miis are not stored in the Mii Channel, but in a special part of the Wii System Memory.
