Rainbow V

Rainbow V is a WayV project, filmed in January 2019 but released in February of the same year. It features the members creating a collaboration performance with each other, in which they are responsible for producing all the details of said performance.

Description

WayV is starting a new project. There are set no rules or structure, they can try what they want to do. Through this project, we hope they will grow. Or at least have some fun.

"From a while back, or even just right now, if there's something that you want to prove to yourself, or I'm sure there's something new that you've wanted to show to the fans. This time, we're going to prepare something all on our own to show to the fans through this project. It will be a chance for you to show your true self to the fans. Our keyword is 'self-producing': our own project that we've made all on our own."

Project name origin

Other candidates for the project name were "Project Rainbow", "V the Rainbow", "Taste the rainbow": all names were related to the rainbow because there are 7 people in WayV.
