Zimo

Zimo is Yan Mi's younger brother.

Biography

When Ah Sahm enters the print shop and asks for help with a printing press, Zimo offers Ah Sahm to use their machine, but he says it wouldn't work and exits. Once Ah Sahm is gone, Zimo is accosted by his father for opening their shop up to gangsters, which was his entire reasoning for crossing the salt. Yan Mi agrees, but Zimo dismisses her input and tells her to make dinner. She smacks him in the back of the head and warns him against talking to her like that.^[1]

Zimo catches the Donahue boys, Garrett and Conor, as they break into a marketplace in Chinatown. They run out the front door, knocking over Zimo as he attempts to interfere. Angered, Zimo and a couple of friends attack an Irishman in an alley way, completely unprovoked. As a result of his reckless actions, Zimo is confronted and slapped at Ah Toy's brothel by Ah Sahm. He informs Zimo that his actions were close to igniting another riot and warns him not to do anything else.^[2]
