| ~ The White Lady |
Patricia Corday, better known as the White Lady, is a minor antagonist in the 2023 video game Lies of P.
She is the younger sister of Adelina Corday, and a former opera singer before she was poisoned, resulting in the loss of her singing voice. After she believed her sister had died in the Puppet Frenzy, she sought revenge by becoming a stalker to hunt puppets. What she never learned was that her sister was still alive, and was actually the one behind her poisoning.
She is voiced by Emma Noakes.
Biography
Past
Patricia Corday and her older sister, Adelina, were both beautiful young women with even more beautiful voices. They soon aspired to become opera singers, taking their talents to the next level in order to be seen by many. However, shortly after their debut, Patricia was poisoned, and as a result she lost her ability to sing at professional level. Patricia believed that she must have accidentally poisoned herself, and fell into a heavy depression because of it.
What she did not know was that it was actually Adelina who poisoned her, out of jealousy and fear that Patricia would outshine her. Adelina continued to grow in popularity without her sister to compete with, and went on to become known as the Red Actress.
Present
When the Petrification Disease hit and the puppets went into a frenzy, Patricia and her sister were separated, and Patricia believed that her sister had been killed by the puppets. In truth, Adelina betrayed Patricia once again, and abandoned her sister to go hide on her own.
Having lost both her voice and her sister, ironically both being the fault of said sister, Patricia became a Stalker known as the White Lady. Donning a pigeon mask, Patricia started hunting puppets, hoping to avenge her sister's "death".
Eventually she came across P, and despite his human appearance, she could tell he was a puppet by hearing the cogs in his body turning, and instigated a fight with him. Despite her talented fighting form, she was no match for the much more skilled P. In her last moments, the White Lady spoke at the irony of her blood staining her white suit red, noting how it now looked like she was wearing red, like her sister always did. Chuckling at the irony of it all, she then died.
