Adelina Corday is a minor character in the 2023 video game Lies of P.
Biography
Past
She and her younger sister Patricia were blessed with beautiful natural singing voices, and they wanted to take their talents to the opera to become famous performers. However, Adelina got jealous of her sister, and soon became paranoid that people would like Patricia more than her.
To stop this, Adelina secretly poisoned Patricia, sabotaging her singing voice, and making her unfit to sing in the opera. Adelina went on to still fulfill their dream on her own, becoming a famous opera singer known as the Red Actress.
Present
When the Puppet Frenzy broke out, Adelina demonstrated her selfishness once more by abandoning her sister and fleeing for her own life. This led to Patricia thinking that Adelina had died, and becoming a Stalker known as the White Lady to avenge her death.
In an ironic twist of karma, the Petrification Disease, a disease that her lover accidentally helped create, inflicted itself onto Adelina, and she lost her own singing voice as well.
She spends the rest of her life alone before eventually dying due to the Petrification Disease.
