What do you Think? Kill them.
~ TFC Spy to TFC Demoman, and also his last words before he was killed by the TF2 Soldier.

TFC Spy is one of the nine playable characters in Team Fortress Classic and a minor antagonist in Team Fortress 2, specifically taking the role of the main antagonist in the comic issue #5 Old Wounds.

Biography

Just like his other mercenary companions, he and the rest of the classic team are briefly shown in the Catch-Up Comic in the 1930s, showing them to be one of the mercenary teams that were hired by Redmond and Blutarch Mann to fight their endless war with each other.

A Cold Day in Hell

The TFC Spy along with his fellow mercenaries were hired by Gray Mann to find the Administrator, who had went into hiding with Mann Co.'s cache of Australium.

Blood in the Water

The TFC Spy was present when the Team Fortress Classic Mercenaries and the TF2 Medic captured some of the Team Fortress 2 Mercenaries in the sunken ruins of New Zealand.

Old Wounds

He first shows up disguised as Heavy, and this easily fools Miss Pauling into revealing to him the coordinations to the whereabouts of her boss, the Administrator. When the TFC Demoman arrives at the cell carrying a ringing phone, this caused the TFC Spy to drop his disguise, revealing his identity. As he answered the call, which is from the TFC Heavy, he learns that his teammate, the TFC Pyro, was killed.

Though the TFC Heavy requested help in dealing with the escaped prisoners, the TF2 Soldier and his girlfriend Zhanna, the TFC Spy tells him on the other line that he can't help right now and reveals to him the coordinations to the Administrator. Hearing this, Miss Pauling, who was left in complete shock for being easily fooled, began to cry in despair, as she now realized that she had the placed the Administrator in great danger.

The TFC Spy then orders TFC Demoman to kill Miss Pauling, the TF2 Demoman, TF2 Pyro, and TF2 Spy. Before he could leave to find the Administrator is suddenly punched in the face by Zhanna. However, it proved to be ineffective as because she punched him with her stump, he was left shocked by the fact he was hit with a bloody stump. The TFC Spy was eventually killed when the TF2 Soldier snaps his neck with a powerful punch to the face.

Personality

The TFC Spy is very calm and collected even in situations that are problematic for him and the other mercs. He is a cold and intelligent man who will go out of his way to get what he needs.

He also appears to not like obvious questioning, such as the TFC Demoman's question of what to do with Miss Pauling and the others. It is quite obvious that he is just as intelligent as his TF2 counterpart.
