The Sanagim were the puppa-themed footsoldiers of the Bagnarak and recurring antagonists in Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger.
Biographies
Past
The origins of the Sanagim and what they are is yet unknown but the Bagnarak Empire emerged on Earth 2000 years ago. Under the leadership of Naraka King Desnarak VIII, they went to war and came very close to succeeding in their conquest due to their use of the Kaijim monsters. Before they could claim victory however, five humans were given special powers by Earth's protective God-like being King-Ohger that allowed them to beat back the Bugnarak Empire and seal them deep below the surface of the Earth. However, there was a prophecy that they would return in 2000 years to seek their revenge.
King-Ohger
As prophesied, the seal over the Earth Empire Bugnarak lifts in 2023 exactly two thousand years to the day that they were sealed away and they resume their plans to conquer the Earth as well as get revenge for their defeat long ago. By this time, the five heroes that originally sealed them away have created five separate tribes so the Bugnarak focus their attacks on these to prevent potential resistance and begin with Shugoddam. Led by Emperor Desnarak himself, an army of Kaijim and Sanagim attack and devastate the kingdom and are immensely successful until Gira Hastie gains the power of Kuwagata-Ohger and forms King-Ohger which repels the invasion.
Personality
Like many other footsoldiers, the Sanagim are extremely loyal but very violent soldiers only capable of speaking in single words.
Powers and Abilities
- Strength: When giant, the Sanagim were able to completely decimate Shugoddam with single smacks and swings from their weapons.
- Fireballs: The Sanagim can fling orange fireballs from their hands that, when giant, could destroy entire buildings with single hits.
- Self Growth: By eating an unnamed amber substance, the Sanagim can instantly grow to giant size.

- Gun Spades: The Sanagim wield large silver spades that they can use to slash or bludgeon their enemies.
- Sanagim Blasts: The Sanagim can fire tiny versions of themselves from their Gun Spades to devastating effect.
