The riot cops are enemies in the 2007 video game The Simpsons Game.
They are members of the Springfield Police Department who are brought out to subdue Marge Simpson's protest against the release of Grand Theft Scratchy, a violent video game.
Physical appearance
The riot cops wear full riot gear, comprised of a dark blue bullet-proof vest, teargas masks, navy blue ties and light-blue shirts and trousers. They carry batons and pistols.
Personalities
The riot cops show an aggressive and violent disposition toward Marge, LIsa and the mob. They have no remorse and have no qualms in committing police brutality. They clearly support the release of the video game and enjoy the violence in it.
Biography
Background
The release of Grand Theft Scratchy, a violent video game which Marge disapproves of, stirs much concern from adults and parents. Marge discovers she has powers to organise mobs and command them to her will, and on Lisa's encouragement organises a mob to protest the release of the video game.
They appear to work for the Springfield Police Department.
The Simpsons Game
In Mob Rules, the fifth level in the game, Marge begins recruiting members for her mob, she, Lisa and the group are encountered by riot police who attack them. They do so by firing bullets and beating them with batons. Whilst attacking, they violently spur each other on and show no remorse in their brutality and violence. They spawn from riot vans.
The cops who are killed by the mob appear in Game Over, the game's final level which is set in Heaven. Their disposition is the same.
