Dolphin "Dolph" Starbeam is a major antagonist in The Simpsons.
He is a student and bully at Springfield Elementary School with Jimbo Jones, Kearney Zzyzwicz, Nelson Muntz, and the Weasels. He is a sixth grader and has been held back for several years.
He is voiced by Tress MacNeille who also voiced Agnes Skinner.
Biography
Dolph is recognized by his asymmetrical haircut which covers one eye and wears cutoff shorts and basketball shoes. He is left-handed and does not talk as much as the other bullies. He usually comes across as very intelligent and speaks a variety of languages including Esperanto, Swahili, and Klingon. It turns out Dolph is Jewish and attends Hebrew school.
Despite the fact that he appears to be wholly Caucasian, in the episode "Little Big Girl" he shows up to multicultural day with a disliked lower lip, suggesting some African or South American descent. He lied to his friends about not having a Bar Mitzvah, later claiming it had been "just family". He has also mentioned the fact that he has two fathers.
He and his friends even went so far with their actions as they try to make a stink bomb at the school and have tied up Bart and Groundskeeper Willie as hostages in the cleaning room in the season 19 episode: 24 Minutes, told Bart to jump off of a dam, causing him to nearly getting killed in the season 30 episode: Bart's Not Dead, and robbing the museum when hired by Principal Skinner in The Simpsons Game.
